BNIM´s Eco House in the US Midwestern State of Iowa is located in a natural area and responds to the typical form of the midwestern farm house. The house is located on a 700-acre site.
The houses program is organized in a clear separation of functional and social spaces.
Gathering spaces benefit from panorametric views while functional spaces like the bathrooms are located more centric. The house provides the following spaces:
Deck, Guest room, bathroom, Antique Bar, Living Area, Kitchen, Perimeter French Drain, Caretakers, Mudroom, Garage, Workshop.
