One New Change / London UK
Arch: Jean Nouvel / Sidell Gibson Type: Retail, Office, Restaurant
--
The Building is located
close by London´s historic St Pauls cathedral consisting of 31,000m² of office space, a roof garden and 20,000 m² of retail.
The building is organized surrounding a central atrium that delivers circulation to its
surrounding streets and creates an astonishing mix of interior to exterior space. The lower level spaces accommodate shops and restaurants.
The building is strongly characterized by an irregular grid and a shape that allowes a variety of angles and directions. This deconstructivist building is a striking example of building design but does not fail to integrate top sustainability measures.
