The Thant Offshore Wind Farm is a project by Vattenfall and is to date the largest Offshore Wind Farm in the world. It consists of 100 Vesta V90 wind turbines and achieves a total capacity of 300MW. More than 200,000 households can be supplied with clean energy by the Wind Park.

Thanet is located 12 km off Foreness Point which is the most eastern point of Kent.
